Our work culture, our values

As Switzerland's central bank, we bear a special responsibility: We are obliged by Constitution and statute to pursue a monetary policy serving the interests of the country and to ensure price stability.

Credibility is our most valuable asset. That is why we act in a forward-looking, quality-conscious and consistent manner. We successfully fulfil our mandate thanks to the competence and expertise of our employees.

We cultivate an open, constructive and dialogue-based culture rooted in trust, respect and collegiality. Commitment, initiative and team spirit are the foundation for achieving our goals together.

SNB - Banking in a different dimension

The diversity of perspectives and expertise within the organisation enriches our decision-making and leads to sound results. Equal opportunity is a key pillar of cooperation and culture at the SNB. It creates an environment in which everyone can contribute their own strengths and thus visibly contribute to shared success.

As a national institution, we represent Switzerland in all its diversity - linguistic, cultural and social. We maintain our national languages and work in German, French and, where possible, Italian.

Training and development

We select our employees carefully and support them individually and strategically. Continuing education furthers their development and ensures long-term employability. We support our employees' internal mobility.

Work environment

We care about our employees' well-being, health and motivation. After all, people who feel good are better placed to fulfil their potential. We contribute to the long-term performance and satisfaction of our employees by offering health promotion services, a broad range of sports activities and flexible solutions for work-life balance.

All open positions are advertised on our job board. Keep up to date with our opportunities by subscribing to our job mail.
