Internships at the SNB - theory meets practice

With an internship at the SNB, you gain valuable practical experience in a challenging and unique environment and make a direct contribution. Every year, we offer around 50 internships in a range of fields - from economics, financial stability and international monetary cooperation to money market and foreign exchange, and IT.

At the SNB, you will get a sense for how academic expertise is put into practice. You can contribute your own ideas and implement them together with our experts.

SNB - Banking in a different dimension

Internships typically last 12 months. They are aimed at graduates with a bachelor's or master's degree. Disciplines such as economics and data science are particularly sought after, as well as - in some cases - business administration and social sciences. In return, we expect good academic performance, language skills, and a willingness to live by and support our values.

From the outset, interns work on an equal footing with staff and take on responsibility. They benefit from the expertise of seasoned colleagues and enjoy a progressive, centrally located work setting that combines research and hands-on experience. Flexible hours and the option of working from home round out the package.
