Fourth Annual NBP-SNB Seminar "Financial Systems and Monetary Policy"
The fourth conference organized jointly by the National Bank of Poland and the Swiss National Bank was held on May 31-June 1 at the Study Center Gerzensee. The main goal of the conference was to bring academics and central bankers together to discuss theoretical and practical aspects of financial systems and monetary policy including some case studies from transition countries. Sessions were devoted to the issues of financial systems and the real economy, financial sector development, financial systems and monetary policy, exchange rates, and interest rates.
