The report on Switzerland’s international investment position comments on the development of foreign assets, foreign liabilities and Switzerland’s net investment position. It indicates the level of Switzerland’s financial assets and liabilities abroad and is drawn up according to IMF guidelines.
As of 1985, data are available on an annual basis, and as of 2000, on a quarterly basis. Current data on the international investment position are published in the Monthly Statistical Bulletin (R section).
Languages, form of publication
The publication is available on the SNB website in German, French and English. The statistics are published in the December issue of the Monthly Statistical Bulletin.
Subscriptions
The printed version of the report on the international investment position is included in the Monthly Statistical Bulletin. Individual copies are available free of charge.
